Gates PowerGrip™ GT4™ is a high-torque industrial synchronous (timing) belt built with an ethylene elastomer construction, offering the highest power-carrying capacity of any belt in its class. The higher capacity lets you design narrower, more compact drives. PowerGrip GT4 belts need no lubrication and no re-tensioning, run quieter than V-belt and chain drives, and operate from -40°C to +120°C (intermittently up to 140°C). They are rust-free, made without chlorinated compounds, and static conductive to ISO 9563 for ATEX applications. Available in 8MGT and 14MGT profiles for a wide range of industrial applications, including food processing, packaging and automation, machine tools, agriculture and HVAC.
